On an illustration elements of models vypuska1993-1995 are shown. On models since 1996 the vertical bolt instead of a nut and a sharnirny bolt for fastening of a back part of the lever of a suspension bracket to a cross-piece is used.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off nuts of fastening of forward wheels. Lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support. Put the car on the hand brake and block back wheels in order that it did not sweep. Remove forward wheels.
2. Remove connecting drafts of the stabilizer of cross-section stability having turned off two nuts (specified by shooters) on each of connecting drafts. If the bolt rotates together with a nut, use торцовыйключ to hold a bolt.
3. Turn off a nut (it is specified by the left arrow) and bolts (are specified by other shooters) fastenings of clips of plugs of the stabilizer (on an illustration is shown the left clip – right is identical).
4. Turn off bolts of fastening of forward section of an exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter (see subsection 5.13) and take away it down so that it was possible to remove the stabilizer.
5. When the stabilizer of cross-section stability will be removed from the car, remove from it fixing plugs and examine them. If they burst, are worn-out or damaged, replace them.
6. Also, it is recommended to check connecting drafts of the stabilizer. For this purpose, shake a bolt of the spherical hinge here and there 5–6 times, then establish a nut. By means of a dinamometrichesky key twist a nut on one turn each 2–4 seconds and take readings of a dinamometrichesky key on the fifth turn. It should show the inhaling moment in 0.54–11.83 N of m. If is not present, replace connecting draft.
7. Clear installation sites of plugs on a stabilizer bar by means of a rigid wire brush to remove dirt and a rust.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease new plugs inside and outside with vegetable oil (used in cookery) for simplification of installation of the stabilizer.

Prevention

Do not use mineral oil, oil oils or brake liquid – they will damage plugs.
