Prevention
The cowl weighs quite a lot therefore it is difficult to remove and establish it. For carrying out these procedures, at least, two persons are necessary.
Removal and installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |

1. Make marks round heads of bolts to provide the correct combination in an installation time. |
| 2. Use a fabric to cover a body and wings in the field of a cowl. It will allow to protect a body and paint during cowl removal. |
| 3. Disconnect any wires or ropes which can prevent removal. |
| 4. Start up your assistant supports a cowl. Unscrew bolts of fastening of loops to a cowl. |
| 5. Remove a cowl. |
| 6. Installation is carried out in return sequence. |

Adjustment
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Longitudinal and cross-section adjustment of a cowl is carried out by shift of a wing of a loop after weakening of bolts. |
| 2. Put the line round all wing of a loop that you could judge extent of moving. |
| 3. Weaken bolts or nuts and shift a cowl to achieve exact combination. Each time shift a cowl on small distance. Tighten bolts of a loop and carefully lower a cowl to check its placement. |

4. If it is necessary, after installation it is possible to adjust all lock of a cowl, both down, and across on a radiator support so that the cowl was closed densely, level with wings. To carry out adjustment, put the line round adjusting bolts of the lock of a cowl to have a reference point, and then weaken bolts and displace the lock as it is necessary. Tighten adjusting bolts. |

5. In summary adjust cowl shock-absorbers on a radiator support so that the cowl was in a closed position level with wings. |
| 6. The cowl lock, also as well as loops, it is necessary to grease periodically with white lithium konsistentny greasing to prevent jamming and wear. |
